Champions League Final 2008 - Manchester Utd V Chelsea

The Luzhniki stadium in Moscow played host to the 2008 Champions League last between two English Premier League Teams, Chelsea and Manchester Utd. The two groups knew each other well and both needed more than anything to win the Cup.

It began well for Man Utd when Christiano Ronaldo opened the scoring with a header in the 26th moment, bouncing above Michael Essien to meet Wes Brown's cross. Minutes late Chelsea were about on level terms when Man Utd goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar needed to paw away a header from his own particular safeguard, Rio Ferdinand.
